It started with a simple question.
How can dog treats better benefit a dog?
The answer was simply...
Bake a better biscuit!

First came the years of dog care and building knowledge. Then working as a live-in Supervisor for a rescue/shelter I specialized in mother/pup care and anxiety / fearful dogs, studying behavior, senior dogs, cooking for them and learning about the nutrition that heals them from the inside out.
This journey continued with dog training, Canine Good Citizen Training, Testing and Evaluating, Florida Animal Control Officer Certification while learning what makes each dog special.
Not a secret - after dogs I love food! Fulfilling the dream of Culinary Arts school was met with one thing in mind – to Bake a Better Biscuit.  For real! And what a wonderful experience!
By combining a Culinary Arts degree with Canine Nutritional education, I began looking at treats differently and seriously elevating the snacking experience for dogs.
I developed my own recipes and was able to patent my formulations. They were that good!
I discovered the secret ingredient was… well…. the ingredients themselves!
How combining them to work together, to taste better, to be better, to do more.
Flavorful combos of functional ingredients that make every bite more beneficial for whole dog wellness and happy snacking.
Understanding baking science, ingredient interaction, texture, palatability and formulation — alongside a dog’s nutritional needs — helped shape a different approach to treat making.
One that was craveably delicious and nutritious.
Because when nutrition and culinary knowledge work together - just like the ingredients - good things come out of the oven.
DOGSNOG now has 15 flavorful combos of either PB /pumpkin based treats or Sweet Potato based treats. Each flavor is easy to eat and easy to digest and of course – craveably delicious and nutritious! Your dog will literally drool with delight!
So, fetch a bag and when you do remember - dreams do come true, dogs deserve a better biscuit and when love, knowledge and a little baking magic come together… tails wag.
